Welcome to James Shaw Pilates, Margate and Thanet’s only fully classical Pilates studio and teacher training academy. Our teaching team is dedicated to preserving the authentic method created by Joseph Pilates, using traditional apparatus and studio design.
Under the leadership of James, our studio brings together a team of highly skilled, fully comprehensive teachers each with at least 600 hours of classical Pilates education. We offer world class classes, from complete beginners to experienced movers alongside impactful mentorship and teacher training designed to support our clients and shape the next generation of Pilates professionals.

As an educator and mentor, my passion lies in helping others discover their potential through the power of classical Pilates. At our studio in Margate, learning is a shared experience you learn and I learn with you.
